Level: Medium Lenght: approx 15 km Starting Point: Scopello-Mera Chairlift Arrival Location: Right at the arrival point of the Scopello-Mera chairlift, you’ll find signs that mark the beginning of your adventure. This convenient starting spot welcomes you with a promise of breathtaking views and exhilarating trails. Segment 1: Through the Village to Alpe Campo Terrain: A charming mix of paved road transitioning to a rustic dirt path. Description: Begin your journey by winding through the quaint village streets, soaking in the local charm. As you leave the village behind, the road turns to a dirt path, leading you into the serene beauty of Alpe Campo. Here, lush meadows and traditional alpine huts set a picturesque scene. Segment 2: Gradual Ascent to Pian d’Asnin Terrain: Gentle, scenic trail perfect for a gradual climb. Description: The trail from Alpe Campo to Pian d’Asnin offers a gradual ascent, surrounded by panoramic vistas that grow more impressive with each step. This section is a feast for the eyes, with sweeping views of verdant valleys and distant peaks. Segment 3: Confluence of Routes 2A and 2 Terrain: Well-marked dirt paths, easy to navigate. Description: At Pian d’Asnin, Route 2A intersects with Route 2, the renowned Mera-Meggiana-Rassa bike path. Follow the signs to take Route 2 in the opposite direction. This segment invites you to explore a path less traveled, adding a touch of adventure to your trek. Segment 4: Scenic Ride to the Village of Mera Terrain: Broad, flat paths perfect for leisurely travel. Description: As you follow Route 2, turn left at the fork towards the village of Mera. This stretch is a tranquil, almost flat path that meanders through some of the most scenic parts of the area. The wide path allows you to fully appreciate the panoramic views of Valsesia and the majestic Monte Rosa. Segment 5: Descent through Boschetto to the Starting Point Terrain: Quick and exhilarating descent. Description: From the picturesque Boschetto, the trail descends briskly back to the starting point. This final leg is a thrilling conclusion to your loop, bringing you full circle with a sense of accomplishment and awe. 1. Reservation  Tours need to be reserved in advance. 2. Payment 2.1 It is required to completely pay the tour on the booking time. The fee is not refundable, but can be transfer to another tour or in a bonus to spend in advance on PiedmontBikeTour experiences. 2.2 Specific payment arrangements can be discussed upon request. 3. Cancellation 3.1 PiemonteBikeTours guides reserve the right to cancel or to reroute a tour due to bad weather conditions or any other circumstances that may jeopardize safety. 3.2 Specific cancellation policies will be discussed by the guides based on the activity. 4. Regulation & Liability Waiver PiemonteBikeTours guides are professional guides with valid patents and insurance. By participating in an activity, you agree to adhere to the regulations set by the tour leader. Participants are required to accept these regulations before starting the tour. 5. Pictures & Videos Pictures and videos may be taken during the activity. Participants who do not wish to appear in any content should inform in advance the PiemonteBikeTour guide to avoid public sharing. 6. Children Policy Families with children are welcome to join the tour, but must be considered that always during the bike tour kids and children remain completely under the responsability of their parents or of the adults that bring them to the bike tour.
